. How do you care for 100% Egyptian Cotton Bed Sheets?
~ Washing
· Wash in cool or lukewarm water that's less than 104 degrees F
.· Set wash cycle on "gentle"
· Use the extra rinse cycle if available
· Use less detergent -- about half the recommended amount
· Avoid using bleach as it breaks down fabric fibers
~ Drying
· Dry sheets in the dryer only until they're dry
· Avoid over drying
· Remove sheets from the dryer promptly and fold immediately·
If sheets have cooled in the dryer and wrinkles have set, then tumble another 5-10 minutes with a washcloth that has been slightly dampened.
OTHER HELPFUL HINTS:
REMOVING STAINS FROM A PLASTIC CONTAINER Apply a little lemon juice on the stain, the let the container sit in the sunfor a couple of hours. Then wash, rinse and dry.
CARING FOR ALL TYPES OF COUNTERTOPS Keep 2 spray bottles handy—fill 1 with 3% hydrogen peroxide andThe other with distilled white vinegar.Lightly spray your counter with the peroxide, and wipe clean. Follow up with a light spray of the vinegar, and wipe it clean.Then relax, knowing that your countertop and other kitchen surfaceshave been treated with antiviral, antifungal as well as antibacterial agents.
Food stains on your nice, clean countertop can be eliminated with a sprinkle of baking soda. Just add some water to make a paste and after a few minutes,Rub off the stain with a damp cloth.
For coffee or tea stains, rub the countertop with a piece of lemon rind.
How many times has the purple ink from a stamped-on price stayed onyour countertop? Rub off the ink with rubbing alcohol or the inside ofa piece of lemon rind. If the alcohol or lemon doesn’t do it, try nailPolish remover. Then wipe with a damp cloth or sponge.
